A teen circle is a structured group gathering designed for adolescents, typically aged 12-16, to discuss and explore various topics related to their personal development, mental health and social well-being.
These circles are facilitated by Michelle a Certified Level I and II Root Cause Therapist. Michelle provides a safe, supportive environment where teens can express themselves, share their experiences and learn from each other. The format often includes activities, discussions and exercises aimed at fostering connection, self-awareness and resilience.

The "Mindful Teens: Journey to Self-Discovery and Well-Being" program is a four-week series of sessions designed to enhance mental health and self-exploration for teens aged 12-16. The program includes activities, discussions, and exercises focused on building emotional resilience, self-awareness, and positive social connections.

Each session is 1.5 hours long and includes a mix of icebreakers, mindfulness practices, group discussions, creative activities, and reflective exercises. The program runs once a week for four weeks.

The sessions are facilitated by Michelle Greenshields who is a Level I and II Certifier Root Cause Therapist and Circle Facilitator. Michelle is the Mum to 3 teenage young men, is fully insured, police checked and Working With Children Check.

As each participant under the NDIS has different requirements and cover, I recommend speaking to your NDIS Plan Manager.

The total cost for the four-week program is $200. This fee covers all materials and activities.

There are no refunds or make-up sessions for missed classes. Each session builds on the previous one, so regular attendance is strongly encouraged to gain the full benefit of the program.

To maintain the integrity and progression of the program, we do not accept new participants after the first session has commenced.

All necessary materials will be provided. Your child should come prepared to engage, with an open mind and a willingness to participate.

The safety and well-being of our participants are our top priorities. All sessions are conducted in a secure and supportive environment. Facilitators are trained to handle sensitive topics and provide appropriate support. Emergency contact information and any relevant medical information should be provided during registration.

Confidentiality is crucial in creating a safe space for participants. We expect all participants to respect the confidentiality of shared experiences and personal information. Facilitators are also bound by confidentiality agreements, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to the participant or others.

Encourage open communication with your child about their experiences in the program. Be supportive and listen to their reflections and feelings. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to the facilitator.
